Use detect if the opponent uses a Damage-dealing move, use Night Slash otherwise. Then use Feint if the opponent uses Protect or Detect, otherwise jump into the air, landing and biting the opponent.

Use fireblast quickly and then use ember behind it. If it uses a damaging move use scratch to counter it away.

The two trainers carefully entered the Fire-surrounded area. Charmander didn’t need to look out; he was a Fire-type, after all. Absol, however, was safe inside his Pokeball for the time being.

Once on the field, Absol closed his eyes. His paws began to glow light blue as he closed his eyes, concentrating on the opponent. He smiled, ready for any attack. He was sure he wouldn’t get hurt. (Absol -20 Energy)

The flame on Charmander’s tail grew for about one second, soon dying down. Fire came from his mouth, forming a 大 shape. It shot at the Absol, yet the Absol had seen this coming. He jumped far to the side, dodging the attack. (Charmander -20 energy, Absol’s protecting done)

Absol jumped high into the air, high enough that he could have dodged the former Fire Blast that Charmander had thrown out. He directed himself to fall towards Charmander. Looking up, Charmander tried to dodge, but was too late. Absol was just too close. The little Fire-type Lizard Pokémon got ready to scratch his opponent as his master had told him to. Absol was right over the Charmander, so he reached out to bite Charmander’s head, but Charmander reached its arms out and started scratching him mainly in the mouth. This is when Absol growled and bit down on the poor Lizard Pokémon’s arm. (Absol -10 energy, -40 HP; Charmander -5 energy, -60 HP)

The fire around Absol grew, attempting to burn him. He dodged all he could, he didn’t get burned once. As soon as he stopped dodging, the fire started to die down. It did flicker once or twice, but Absol was not burned. (Absol not burned)

Notes:
Detect; Rolled 14. Absol is protected for one attack.
Fire Blast; Rolled 42. Needed 100 to miss, 10 to burn, but sadly Absol had detect up for his attack.
Bite; Rolled 78. Needed 30 or bellow to flinch, needed 65 or above for Critical Hit.
Scratch; Rolled 33. Needed 20 or bellow for critical hit.
Area Burn; Rolled 50, needed 10 or bellow to burn.

Use fireblast as the oppenent attacks first, if they then use detect or protect use growl, ember then followed by a jumping spin above them and end with scratching their head!

Shadow closed his eyes and calculated an attack for a later time. He nodded and opened his eyes. A spark flew high into the sky as soon as he did so. (Future Sight to hit as Absol’s second attack next round, Absol -15 energy)

Charmander was proud that his master had told him to use Fire Blast when Shadow hadn’t used Detect. The flame on the tip of his tail grew as he opened his mouth, forming a 大 shaped flame. It blew towards Shadow, who hadn’t been paying attention, and was hit head-on. (Charmander -20 energy, Absol -120 HP, not burned)

Absol’s eyes glowed light blue instead of his paws for once. He figured out a way to avoid the Jump Twirling scratch, and smiled. The Charmander would still put on a show, no doubt. (Absol -20 energy, protected)

Charmander jumped up in the air and started spinning. He was headed straight for Absol. Sadly, the Dark-Type Pokémon jumped to the side just as it was going to scratch it, so the attack failed. At least the little Fire Lizard had put on a small show. (Charmander -5 energy)

Absol jumped up in the air right before any fire went up, dodging the whole Fire Light display. He wasn’t burned.

If the absol uses a physical attack, Growl very loudly to irritate it then use Scratch. End your attacking with a jump in the air with a spinning down on the absol Fire Blast to trap it up.

Shadow went onto his hind legs, ready to run towards Pyro. His teeth glowed in the firelight. He charged and bit Pyro. Pyro yelped and twirled, knocking the Absol off and back to his spot. (Absol -10 energy, Charmander -60 HP)

Charmander stood up and growled at the Absol, attempting to irritate it. Seeing this didn’t annoy it, the Lizard Pokémon turned around, smacked his butt, turned around, and stuck his tounge out at Shadow. This did annoy him, and Shadow jumped over just in time for Pyro to scratch his belly hard. (Charmander -5 energy, Absol -40 HP

A spark, bigger than the one Absol had thrown up in the air before, came down right onto poor little Pyro. He squealed, and fell to the ground. (Charmander -100 HP)

After a few moments, the Lizard Pokémon got up. He wasn’t going to give up without a fight. He jumped in the air and spun. Once he was above Absol, he used Fire Blast for a last time, yet the Absol jumped out of the way right before it trapped him. (Charmander -25 Energy)

Absol just sat there, waiting for the fire. The fire, oddly, never came. Had someone turned the fire off?

NOTE TO REFFS
A battle may have two or three moves each round. In the VS Seeker, the two people battling should decide on how many moves the battle will have. Two moves will mean only two moves per round. Three moves means only three moves per round, less if using Rest, a move that requires a chartge turn/rest turn, or something like that.

Ok, give it all you friggin' got. Although I was thinking of killing poor Charmander with Perish Song, dont use it. Use detect two turns in a row. Then use Double-Edge.

Pyro stared at Shadow. The two Pokémon had little energy, but neither really wanted to give up quite yet. How had Shadow known about the last Fire Blast Cage, no one had known. Pyro opened his mouth and fire started to come out, once again in the strange form. Shadow looked at the thing of fire. He knew that if this hit, he would have too low HP to battle, and may even faint for nothing. His eyes started to glow blue quickly as the formed fire raced towards him. He jumped up, higher than the fire. (Pyro -20 Energy, Shadow -20 Energy)

Pyro was really starting to get mad now. He jumped high in the air and used Fire Blast once more, this time diving down with the Fire Blast. Absol once again closed his eyes and stepped out of the way. Charmander rushed over to Absol and attempted to scratch him. Half of the damage was done. (Pyro -25 Energy, Absol -20 energy and 30 HP)

This was almost it. This move HAD to hit, Shadow had much less HP than Pyro, and this was one way to stop that. Absol raced towards Pyro. Pyro let out a few puffs of fire, hitting Absol on his horn-type-thing. He roared in pain, yet continued on. He slammed into Charmander quite hard. He stumbled backwards after this and sat down. He had done his best, but now he was too weak to fight. Charmander, however, was much worse. The little lizard Pokémon had fainted. (Charmander -240 HP, fainted. Absol -80 HP. Charmander -15 energy, Absol -25 energy)

The referee put her hand up and announced; “Pyro is unable to battle. Shadow is victorious!”

Fire Blast 1: Rolled 75, 85 to miss, yet Absol still had Detect up.
Fire Blast 2: Rolled 1. Wait, one!? Absol had Detect up, yet somehow, half of the Scratch hit.
Ember: Rolled 38. 7 or above for Critical Hit.
